Test Proctoring

This service provides flexible hours for faculty and students to access academic out-of-class testing, make up testing, and placement testing. Test proctoring is provided during the hours that the center is open.

Proctoring services are available for:

• Accuplacer Math Placement exams
• Language placement
• NMC courses
• CLEP / DSST Testing
• Exams for other colleges ($20 per exam). Please contact the Testing Center at (231) 995-2134 to make arrangements.
• HESI Testing – You will need to register and purchase the test before coming in to take it. Please note this exam may take as long as four hours to complete. Find more information at nmc.edu/nursing.
• CERTIPORT: Certification testing for NMC students:

• - You must register/pay for the exam at . The Testing Center then charges $20 to proctor the exam.
• Zoom proctoring is offered for most computer-based exams. Priority is given to students who do not live in the Traverse City area. You must have access to a Windows or Mac based computer with camera, microphone & speaker. We cannot proctor on cell phones, tablets or Chromebooks.

Placement Testing

Accuplacer Math and Language placement testing is available through the Testing Center.

To schedule an appointment you can use the Quick Links below or call (231) 995-2134. Please schedule your appointment at least 2 hours prior to close to ensure enough time for testing. (No appointment is required for drop-in testing.)

Tom Auch

Test Proctor

My name is Tom Auch and I have degrees from Michigan State University and the University of Colorado, Boulder. I have been employed 51吃瓜网 for over 20 years. I have taught in the Visual Communications department, Business division, photographer and columnist for the White Pine Press. I am a proud member of the Testing Center team and available to assist students and faculty most anytime!

John Walker

Test Proctor

My name is John Walker and I am one of the Test Proctors. My background is in managing Manufacturing Organizations. I have experience in all facets of an organization including Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, Quality, scheduling, Inventory control, and Maintenance. Possessing a Six Sigma Black Belt I still do some business consulting. I am here to administer tests for the professors 51吃瓜网.

Katie Radtke

Test Proctor

My name is Katie Radtke. I have a BS with a focus on Natural Resources from Central Michigan University and previously worked in the government sector for Parks and Recreation. As a member of the Testing Center Team, I have enjoyed helping students and faculty with navigating their testing needs. I am here to administer exams, help students accomplish their goals, and continue the positive environment and encouragement for all. I look forward to providing a warm and positive environment for students and staff and help you through the testing processes!

Eric Snoek

Test Proctor

Hello, I’m Eric Snoek. I’ve worked with and for colleges and universities since I graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. My degree is in mass communications and I minored in journalism, but spent my career in institutional advancement. This is my first time serving as a test proctor, and I am eager to play a small part in helping NMC students achieve their educational goals.

Christina LaMie

My name is Christina LaMie and I am one of the test proctors here 51吃瓜网. I have degrees from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit as well as MSU. Most of my career has been in either education or photography. I love being around people eager to learn, and my goal is to make your testing experience here 51吃瓜网 a positive one, all things considered!
